(Dad's size when he was born!)
Everyone says you look like dad. I don't see it. But I guess one of us has to take after him (glad it ain't me).
You also started taking a pacifier a lot more. This is something mom was really against, at first. But, then she realized you wanted her to be the pacifier...homie don't play like that, so insert silicone here.
By the way, you hated this one.
You also started to have what is called "blow-outs". Surely a sweet little lady like you would learn to avoid these. False. You find pleasure in them. On the first blow out we were all enjoying a nice dinner on the patio. I was begging, you were sitting so quietly in your bouncy. We've now learned the sign of a blow out. Silence. Mom brought you inside and she thought that dad got charcoal on you. But we hadn't grilled. Que the green goo #1. Mom stuck her finger in it. Rookie move. And that onsie was so cute on you!
Blowout #2 came when you were just with mom. Shopping. She was trying on clothes and you were just staring, silent, and still. (There was that sign, by the way) She smelled something, moved your blanket and there was the treat!
Is it just me or are you finding pleasure in this?
Also this month you started taking naps in your crib. These don't last long, but you're trying. We figure if we start you sleeping in there during the day then we will smoothly transition you to sleeping there at night. When you're 5 years old.
You also still despise tummy time. Heck I don't blame you. I try and lick your face and tell you it's ok but you really just hate it. But at this rate you'll be 1 before you have head control.
One of our favorite things about you is how much you LOVE to snuggle. That's what kind of people we are so I'm real happy you are fitting in.
The older you get the more places we get to go, so thanks for that. We walk each morning and you are a champ at that.
Mom and dad take us out to eat with them.
And we even had a picnic date at the park. (See what I mean about the head control?)
Sometimes mom and dad leave us, alone. Well, Grandpa and Grandma Frazier came to supervise while they went out. They missed us the whole time though.
You've visited your great grand parents too. Here GG Frazier is singing to you. She LOVES to sing you'll learn. Don't give her a microphone.
One thing you got to do without me is a storytime/music class with your friend Nora. You loved it and paid such good attention!
Bows also came in style for you.
Things you love:
Snuggles, pacifier, BATHTIME, mom vs a bottle, the fan, music, stroller rides, smiling, pooping on dad.
Things you hate:
Tummy time, not being held, wearing white (well it always comes home stained!), 4pm-8pm
We are growing closer everyday. Thanks for teaching me patience and how to share. And for not waking up every 2 hours.
Happy 2 months sister Charlotte. We just love every minute with you.
Love, Nelson
