Welcome to the world, Little Boy Blue

March 27, 2017 at 9:03 am we welcomed the most beautiful, loud, and plump boy into our world.  Levi Bradley took very little time to make his entrance!

We were thinking you were going to be late, already going away from your sisters' birth plan.  Then one evening mom started feeling a little crummy and by the time she was putting Charlotte to bed, she knew it may her her last time doing so with just one baby.  Sure enough, dad went bed as mom continued "feeling crummy", which turned out to be your way of coming to meet us.

At 1am they left for the hospital.  I don't know why they always have to leave me in the middle of the night!  Mom went and stared at her first baby, sleeping so peaceful, not knowing her world would forever change.

After lots of pain, lots of screaming, she finally got the epidural.  She said she was not nearly as scared to make that decision this time after seeing how great it was the first time around.

Shortly thereafter she pushed for 12 minutes and boom, you rushed out!  And screamed.  FOREVER!  mom thought maybe you needed to go back in for bit to get your act together, but you were so squishy and cute she held you through it.  Within an hour  dad had a sub sandwich in the delivery room and all was right in the world.

The fun as soon to begin.  Mom and dad could not wait of you to meet your sister!  All the grandparents showed up and were shocked to see how big you were.  Coming in at 8lb 8oz and 21 3/4 in, you were already the big kid.

Then finally the whole family was together, minus me of course.  Charlotte walked in and mom could hear her from the hall getting so excited!  "MOMMY!!!  You had the baby!!  Out of your tummy??!" She soon couldn't wait to hold you and hug mom.  You guys exchanged gifts and got acquainted.  And Charlotte quickly congratulated mom on such good work, "mom, he come out of your tummy?  Good job mom!"  The sweetest thing she's ever heard.

The next two nights were spent in a the hospital continuously getting woke up for checks.  You were a tar pooper right away, and dad called for backup during his first boy diaper change.

Finally everyone gets home, and I got to meet my first brother.  I couldn't believe mom was doing this again, but heck you were cute so it was ok.

You fit right in the moment we all met you.  You are adorable, sweet, cuddly, and a bundle of perfection.  With the most beautiful blue eyes, mom's already named you Little Boy Blue.   Welcome to the world, Levi Bradley Myers
